General Search Tips

Medical and Surgical Requisites offer the finest medical products from the leading manufacturers of medical and healthcare products.

To effectively search for a particular medical product please make use of either the navigation on the left of this page to provide a general search, or search alphabetically using the navigation above or search by keyword and select the desired category from the drop down menu above. Use specific keywords instead of general terms e.g. a search for "triangular bandage" will return less results than a more targeted search for "bandage".

Keywords is a simple and easy way of finding products or product groups. There are a number of options.

1. Simply enter the product name (in some instances we may also include similar products which may be used as an alternative.) (See MEDI+Review.)

2. If you don't know the product name or wish to see more products in that group, enter the type of product e.g syringe, scalpel, cuff, stethoscope. If your product is part of a large group, e.g bandage, dressing etc. you can narrow your search by specifying the type of dressing or bandage e.g crepe, conforming, heavy or hydrocolloid, alginate, gauze, nad (non adherent dressing) and so on.

3. You can also search certain products by size, e.g 25g will show all 25 gauge needles or 3ml, all 3ml syringes, 3/0, all 3/0 sutures etc. (you can also enter nylon or silk as a keyword)
