Glucojel Jelly Beans are a popular Australian, fruit-flavored confectionery designed for fast-acting glucose absorption to manage hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Each bean contains 3.75g of carbohydrates, meaning four beans provide a standard 15g, quick-release energy dose. They are made with 30% glucose, natural colors, and are vegan-friendly, but contain wheat starch.

For hypoglycemia management, the general recommendation is to consume 4-7 jelly beans, depending on the severity of the low, which should be followed by a longer-acting carbohydrate snack if necessary

Purpose: Primarily used by people with diabetes for treating hypoglycemia by quickly raising blood glucose levels.
